In a career spanning more than two decades, Nechama Brodie has worked as a journalist, magazine editor, publisher and talk-show host, and is the editor and co-author of the best-selling The Joburg Book and Inside Joburg. She worked with independent fact-checking agency Africa Check and launched its training and research division. She is an occasional lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand's School of Journalism and Media Studies, where she is currently completing a PhD.
