Michelle Jean-Edwards self-published her first book of the Every Side Series, Betrayed in 2023. She enjoys telling stories about professional African Americans being great in America. It is still a desire of Michelle's to show the struggles and triumphant battles that people face on a regular basis. Michelle loves both romance and thrillers which will be seen in her books.

Michelle has a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and a Master of Business Administration. She holds several professional certifications in Lean Black Belt Six Sigma, Project Management Professional, Scrum Master, and Agile certifications. She has worked in various industries from manufacturing, consulting, and the public sector. She has spent most of her career using her mechanical engineering degree by working in continuous improvement. She loves her day job working in continuous improvement, but Michelle's creative side wanted more. She began writing during COVID, and she didn't stop. It has become a great passion of hers, and she hopes to write a host of books in the future.

Michelle is family-oriented and spends most of her time with those that she loves. She has many hobbies that keep her entertained other than writing, such as dancing, reading, sewing, and creating crafts. She is a friend to those in her circle and will support worthy causes. She is actively involved in community service, and she believes in giving back.

This is Michelle's second book of the series. The fan base that's invested in Lauryn and Keith's outcome will want to know what happens in this book. Every Side involves a tale surrounding the lives of four individuals. This book focuses on Lauryn's perspective.
