Justin and Julia, two present-day teenagers, suddenly find themselves in a field of golden hay on the edge of a sweet pine forest. They do not know where they are or how they got there. In fact, they do not even know who they are. All they know is that before they found themselves in the field, they felt a doom upon them. Now, for whatever reason, they pined for a second chance, a second chance they were sure was not just necessary for them, but for a whole multitude of people.
Their quest for answers begins when they find Mary Mother of God in this same forest, who explains that they must take a journey through God's story of salvation to discover the answers they are looking for. Yet, there is a further hitch-neither Justin nor Julia can recall any knowledge of God or Jesus or even who Mary is.
Thus, Justin and Julia engage in this mysterious quest by participating in the momentous events of historical and spiritual history, befriending the great figures of the past, and even going beyond space and time itself.
