For years, he worked seven days a week as a self-employed affordable home builder, checking his bank balance multiple times daily and living in perpetual fear of not having enough. He called himself a Christian, but when it came to his finances, he was firmly in control-or so he believed. That changed fifteen years ago when his future wife, Sarah, issued an ultimatum that would transform his life: "Tithing isn't negotiable for me."
