Denny Lynch launched a lifetime career in public relations while working on the student newspaper in college. A chance meeting with Wendy's founder Dave Thomas in 1981 led to a twenty-year adventure together crisscrossing the US and Canada, with Denny eventually rising to senior vice president of communications for Wendy's. Denny also helped create the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption in 1992 and served as chairman for twenty years. In 2009, he received a Distinguished Alumni Award from the Ohio State University. He loves retirement with his wife of forty-five years, two children, and four granddaughters.
