Beautiful assassin, archwizard cat, werewolf lover ? what could possibly go wrong?

Grymalkyn is an altruistic wizard-assassin with strong morals, a short temper for incompetence, and far too much experience to die easily. She succeeds in the mission ? but the escape goes wrong. Forced to flee on a sick magic carpet, she barely makes it home, crash-lands in the horse trough in the yard of the Shapeshifters' Arms.

With no time to recuperate, Grym must plan her return to finish the job. With advice from the Archwizard of the Academy of Altruistic Assassins, and help from her fellow assassin and werewolf lover, Merle, she prepares to go back in.

As ever in Black Ops, plans unravel, an apprentice's enthusiasm nearly wrecks everything, and the expected becomes the unexpected ? including, of all things, the carpet.
