Lori Hernandez's love for sewing began when her daughter was born - a spark that quickly grew into a children's boutique, a passion for teaching, and a community. Over the past 15 years she has traveled the country teaching thousands of sewists how to embrace their machines with confidence and creativity. That passion led to the creation of Serge Fun Club, a vibrant online sewing community where learning feels like play and every project is a celebration.

Milinda Jay Stephenson is a professor at Florida State University, Panama City, and a National Educator for Baby Lock, traveling the country helping sewists of all skill levels discover the joy of creating with sergers and embroidery machines. She has shared her techniques in Creative Machine Embroidery Magazine and Sew News. In addition to her work in the sewing world, Milinda writes novels as Milinda Jay, weaving stories inspired by her love of family, history, and the Gulf Coast.
