What if repentance is not rejection?but rescue?

Repentance has often been preached as a threat, heard as shame, or reduced to feeling sorry for sin. Yet Scripture presents something far greater. Repentance is the mercy of God interrupting a destructive path and calling us back into alignment with the King.
