Amanda Madden is Assistant Professor of History at George Mason University and Affiliate Faculty at the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media. Her research examines the intersections of violence, gender, and law in early modern Italy. She also directs Mapping Violence in Early Modern Italy, a digital humanities platform mapping violence across Northern Italy.

Colin Rose is Associate Professor of European and Digital History at Brock University. His research examines social and spatial practices of conflict prosecution and resolution in early modern North Italy. He is the co-lead investigator of the DECIMA project and the co-director of Mapping Violence in Early Modern Italy.
